Our Girls. Our Strength. Our Future. Our Magic.
Annual Report
2024
A Message From Our Founder
As I reflect on the year, I am filled with gratitude for the intentionality, commitment, and magic that defines our community. This reflection on our year does not just explore our growth as an organization; it highlights the transformative programs, initiatives, and partnerships that have propelled our mission forward. More importantly, it celebrates the girls that are at the forefront of who we are and why we do what we do
At Love Your Magic, we are dedicated to creating spaces where Black and Brown girls can confidently navigate and disrupt systems that are not designed in their image. We curate sacred spaces through our transformative programs and initiatives, equipping our girls to become leaders of the future by living lives that align with their values and using their voices to ignite meaningful change.
This year, we focused on codifying our programs and initiatives to enhance consistency, sustainability, and effectiveness in delivering our mission. We also completed a comprehensive rebrand to ensure that our website, branding, and overall identity deeply resonate with the girls we serve.
I am grateful for and proud of the young women who are at the heart of Love Your Magic. Your dedication, resilience, and unwavering belief in the power of change inspire us all.
You are the most powerful force within our organization, driving everything we do. Your commitment to shaping a brighter future for yourselves, your community, and the world around you motivates us to continue providing the sacred spaces you undoubtedly deserve.
In a world that tells you and your girl you can't, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for waking up every day and saying you can — and your girls will. We believe the well-being of our girls is a shared responsibility, one that belongs to all of us. Your unwavering support enables the girls to show up with open hearts and allows us at Love Your Magic to fully embrace them, knowing they have a community invested in their growth and success.
To our supporters and funders: thank you for your unwavering belief in our mission and your contributions to our work. Your support makes it possible for Love Your Magic to continue creating transformative spaces where Black and Brown girls can thrive, lead, and shine.
Warmest Regards,
Ivanna Solano

Our Love & Magic Pillars
-
We equip Black and Brown girls with the tools and skills they need in order to advocate for themselves in a world that too often demands their silence.
-
We affirm and instill the importance of self - love into Black and Brown girls so that they are fully aware of their value and entitlement to healthy and reciprocal love and relationships.
-
We reclaim self-care and prioritize mental health for our Black and Brown girls to strengthen the toolkit they have to tend to their mind, body, and spirit.
-
Through an emphasis on fostering authentic connections and chosen kinship, we encourage our girls to see each other not as competitors, but as friends, supporters, and champions of one another.
-
We believe the world needs Black and Brown girls leading for equity, justice, and fairness. Love Your Magic leaders unapologetically take up space, lead authentically, and demand what they deserve. They teach people how to treat them well and prioritize their right to be heard, respected, and honored.

Our Commitment
Love Your Magic will continue its commitment to be a sacred space for the healthy development of Black and Brown girls through our Theory of Action:
Love Your Magic will continue its commitment to be a sacred space for the healthy development of Black and Brown girls through our Theory of Action:
-
We are intentional about cultivating a “third space” of safety and community designed to foster chosen kinship. Our young people are free to express themselves in a space where they are affirmed, seen, and celebrated for their uniqueness and individuality.
-
We know the world seeks to shrink the power and authority our Black and Brown girls are entitled to, therefore we arm them with the skills to navigate the world with audacious confidence, clarity of their power, and a deep-rooted sense of self and values.
-
We create programming that supports healthy development focused on well-being, self-awareness, self-improvement, advocacy, and healthy relationships.
-
We grow with our participants from elementary school to college as a guiding and supportive partnership through all stages in their development.
